สัญลักษณ์ของโรงเรียนบ้านทุ่มฝาง ประกอบด้วย

ช่อชัยพฤกษ์สีน้ำเงินรองรับตราโล่จตุภาค ที่มีสีพื้นขาวและแดงซึ่งเป็นสีประจำโรงเรียน
สีขาวหมายถึง รักความสงบ สันติ และยึดมั่นในคุณธรรม จริยธรรม
สีแดงหมายถึง ความรัก ความสามัคคี ความอดทน
ช่อชัยพฤกษ์สีน้ำเงิน หมายถึง เขตบริการของโรงเรียนเป็นหมู่บ้านเกษตรกร
จตุภาคที่ 1 รูปหลวงพ่อพระเจ้าองค์ตื้อพระพุทธรูปที่เคารพศรัทธาและเป็นที่ยึดเหนี่ยวทางใจ
ของพุทธศาสนิกชน ของตำบลน้ำโมง อำเภอท่าบ่อ จังหวัดหนองคายและพุทธสาสนิกชนทั่วไป
จตุภาคที่ 2 รูปต้นไทร ก่อนหน้านี้ภายในโรงเรียนมีต้นไทรใหญ่สูงประมาณ 10 เมตร
อายุกว่า 100 ปี เป็นสัญลักษณ์ของโรงเรียนบ้านทุ่มฝาง โค่นล้มไปเมื่อปี 2549
ปัจจุบัน ได้ปลูกต้นโพธิ์ แทนที่ต้นไทร สูงประมาณ 5 เมตร
จตุภาคที่ 3 รูปมือสัมผัสกัน หมายถึงมิตรภาพ
จตุภาคที่ 4 สัญลักษณ์เครื่องเขียนแบบเรียน หมายถึง โรงเรียนบ้านทุ่มฝางเป็นแหล่งเรียนรู้
ตลอดชีวิตพร้อมให้บริการด้านวิชาการแก่ประชากรในเขตบริการและผู้สนใจ

This logo is two bunch of laburnum support a shield. two bunch of laburnum mean the school in the agriculture village. The shield device four parts have red and white background. Red and white are colors of the school. First is Buddha Image that means we are believe in Buddhism. Second is the big banyan tree, it was born before the buildings. Third is to shake hands mean be friendship. Fourth is symbol of learning that means school’s aim is service peoples to studying belong together.
